Actually, the real reason for this blog is that I cannot remember a thing. It's crazy! I mean, raising kids (esp. as a SAHM, or "stay-at-home-mom" for those reading who are not in this crazy world) is a pretty intense experience, and yet I am amazed at how much I forget and how quickly I forget it. So, maybe it's not a big deal if you can't remember when your first child went from two naps to one, but while you're in the middle of that incredibly frustrating transition period, when your child will nap rules your day, and looking back later, it seems impossible to imagine that you can forget those details.
So here I am, looking to document some of the fun (and possibly not so fun) events in the lives of my two girls, and to attempt to capture their evolving personalities, so that later on we can look back and read some of these posts and have a giggle. Oh, and possibly some of my friends or family will check in on them now and again. I'll even post some pictures.
So, here they are today, January 25th, 2008. Lee is getting on towards 4 yrs old, and Clara is just over a year. These were taken on a typical late Friday afternoon. Lee is playing dress-up (surprise, surprise!),
and Clara is looking not so very happy because she's working on some molars plus a few incisors and needs lots of distraction and/or Tylenol to think about something else.
I can't just post the cute pictures, can I?
