The fascination with disasters seeps even into Christmas. We had forgotten to give Linda the potholder that Lee made for her, so we gave it to her this past weekend. Linda opened up the card, and I heard her saying, "Wow, Lee, this looks very festive. I like all the red and green. And what's this, a volcano?"
Why not? Lava is red, after all.
