Here are some mini-cupcakes Lee and I made for a potluck dinner celebrating the end of preschool for Lee. I like doing this kind of stuff, and think they're pretty cute.
But there's always this nagging voice inside me saying "I need to get a job."
R-chan, I hope you're not really feeling that you "ought" to be doing something that strangers are willing to pay you to do. The time you spend with Lee and Clara enriches their lives in irreplaceable ways. They learn from you on many levels, including the subtle but powerful message that they are loved and worthy of your attention. Don't worry, you can always get a job when they're in school full-time. Or maybe when they're door-slamming teenagers. Oy vey. LLS
